Music Line Up
The music season in the winter seems to be a bit on the quiet side. Now we’re into spring there’s some interesting acts we’ve booked.
Mar 26 – Lily Allen, The Showbox
I was a bit dubious when I first heard her album but it has grown on me. It is an interesting mix of ska, punk and pop. It helps that she can actually sing, check out her live performance on Radio 1s Live Lounge album.

Apr 09 – Anoushka Shankar, Benaroya Hall
Daughter of sitar guru, Ravi Shankar, Anoushka has released many sitar albums. Looking forward to this, should be an excellent performance.

May 02 – Kings of Leon, The Moore Theatre
I haven’t heard their latest album Because of the Times, but their last release Aha Shake Heartbreak was one of our main soundtracks when driving from Nevada to Arizona a few years back. Branded as Southern Rock (a bit more grungy or indie IMHO) they should be interesting live.

May 26 – Bjork, The Arcade Fire et al.. The Gorge Amphitheatre
The Sasquatch! Music Festiaval 07, is an outdoor festival over the Memorial day weekend. We’re mainly going to see Bjork live.
Jun 06 – The Police, Key Arena
Recently re-formed The Police are starting their worldwide tour in North America at the end of May before coming down to Seattle. Tickets were sold out before going on general sale (in the pre-sale).
