Spamalot

This show has been out in Broadway since 2005 but came to London last October. Given we were in London for New Year's Eve we figured London on New Year's day might be quieter than a usual day, so we booked tickets to see Spamalot!

The musical is self described as 'lovingly ripped off from the motion picture' and improves on the film. The other half hasn't seen the film, but she really enjoyed the musical. Whilst the film was a parody on the legend of King Arthur, the muscial is a parody of musicals, which adds more to the comedy.

If you go and see it and don't have enough time for a pre-theater dinner they serve spam sandwiches during the intermission. We resisted the spam and had a late night curry at the excellent The Red Fort.
